My name is Marlene La Monica, my diagnosis is Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD).  I am in a wheelchair with right side weakness and paralysis.   I had severe spasticity and as of September 2005 had lost the ability to stand or transfer on my own.  I could barely sit up in my chair.  I was desperate and scared ..... had to try something.  I had horrific nerve pain after a simple knee sprain.  In January, after many new Doctors and several visits advising me there was nothing they could do for me (other than high doses of Narcotics), I made an appointment with Dr. Gonzalez.  Two hours after his therapy, my pain was gone.  NOTHING works for everyone and this is not a cure, but his combo therapy looked more promising than anything I had found.

THREE MONTHS
My wound of 8 years is closing it was about the size of my fist in January. It has a small scab but appears to be about the size of a dime and is no longer an open raw wound.

Wound is the size of the tip of my pinky (tiny)
I can stand with my leg supported against my chair ...... no hands.

FOUR 1/2 MONTHS
Impressive ...... I can stand for longer periods of time without holding on .... I can brush my teeth standing/leaning at the counter.  I used to have difficulty leaning over the sink from my wheelchair.

ONE YEAR update ....... My wound is healed.  I have maintained my benefits and am forever indebted.
